Plenary Session VI

This morning's session was broken into two parts. The early session from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM was small group discussions concerning the change in ministry policies. Since I would have no voice in such groups I did not attend, but understand from remarks later in the Plenary, that they were very useful. The second part lasting from 9:45 AM to 11:15 AM was a quasi committee of the whole when the floor was open to people giving their opinions of the ministry polices and having their questions answered. Their is still a great deal of polarization over these issues, but since they will only require a simple majority, I'm sure they will all pass. Vote on these four recommendations will not occur until Friday morning.

One interesting thought I heard at this open floor discussion was "Since the Holy Spirit is speaking to all christian religions, why is it speaking more clearly to just a few christian religions?
